Trainings for the staff of the University of Prishtina on the use of the new Software on “Management of Budget and Finances”, held during 28-30 June, 2016

In the framework of the TEMPUS Project: “Increasing the Financial Autonomy and accountability at public Higher education institutions in Kosova”, trainings for the staff of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, on the use of the new software on “Management of Budget and Finance” was held during 28th – 30th  June, 2016. The trainings were divided into groups for three days due to the large number of faculties.
On 28th June, 2016, the trainings were held for:  Finance Officers in Rectorate – Central Administration, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Education and Faculty of Sport Sciences
On 29th June, 2016, the trainings were held for: Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Law
On 30th June, 2016, the trainings were held for: Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary.
The target groups for the trainings were: Vice Deans for Finance; staff of the IT Department; Staff of the Finance Department and Education officers.
Furthermore, the present participants were trained on how to use the new system, and had the chance to ask questions regarding the software. Changes and modifications can be made during the implementation phase, so the system fits the needs of the officers.
Additionally, the trial phase is scheduled to last until September 30, and during this time the authorized officers can test the data and can provide feedback regarding the new software.
The new Software will start its implementation on October 1, right after trial phase.
